The Reading Street selection this week was titled "Stretching Ourselves: Kids with Cerebral Palsy" and it was about 3 different kids with varying degrees of CP and how they have to sometimes do things differently and try harder than other kids. So to help our students make a personal or real-world connection, Glen and his mother put together a short presentation, utilizing the weekly vocabulary and information in the text, to talk about challenges he has faced and what life is like for him. Glen is an awesome young man, with a wonderful family. We are lucky to have Glen among us. Give Glen a high five or a fist bump the next time you see him.
