A Little About Me!
My name is Adrienne Johnston. I received my bachelors’ degree from the University of Wyoming in Elementary Education and exceptional generalist k-12 (special education) with an endorsement in middle school. While an undergraduate I enjoyed taking classes on a wide variety of topics from archeology to abnormal psychology to special education, anything that was of interest to me.
For the last 13 years I have taught in Rawlins, Wyoming. I taught third grade for six years and special education for two years. This is my sixth year in fifth grade. I love the challenge of older students.
When I am not teaching or planning, I enjoy reading murder mystery novels, and spending time with Bryce and Collyer (my sons) and Jim (my husband) in the mountains around Saratoga, Wyoming. During the summer, my highlight is getting to spend the days with Bryce who is 9 and Collyer who is 6. It is amazing how fast they grow up!
