Hello! My name is Lori Arment and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. I grew up in Aurora, Colorado and earned my B.A. in Education in 1980 from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. I received my Masters Degree in Education in 1988 from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. I have continued my education by attending various classes and workshops throughout the years.
I have experience teaching most grades from kindergarten through seventh grade, including Special Education and a Gifted and Talented program. I have taught in the states of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Wyoming including time on both the Navajo and Hopi reservations. This is my twelfth year teaching Kindergarten at Rawlins Elementary. I love teaching kindergarten and want to thank you for the opportunity to share in your child's learning experience this year.
My husband and I have been busy raising our three children here in Rawlins. We have a daughter who is in college this year and two sons who are both in High School. Activities I enjoy are camping and hiking, skiing, reading, cooking and travel.
Please feel free to contact me at the elementary school with any questions or concerns.
