Hello! My name is Valerie Ross. I moved to Rawlins in 2013, this is my fifth year in this school district. I could not think of any place I would rather be. I grew up and graduated from High School in Lusk, Wyoming. I am married and have one son and two step-children. I have several brothers and sisters that live in various places around the United States. In my spare time I love to travel. One of my favorite places to go is to the West Coast of Oregon. I also enjoy cooking and watching movies.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Valley City State University. Upon Completion of my Bachelor’s Degree, I attended Grand Canyon University where I completed my Master’s Degree in Special Education. I have always had a love for learning…My next adventure is to learn Spanish and sign language.
In My Classroom….
I believe that all students can learn…the key is to find out just “how” each one learns. If you ever visit my classroom you will see a room filled with bright colors and an overall “fun and educational” environment. Students use different hands on activities to supplement each lesson in order to meet their individual needs.
